Poor Nessa, though — heck, poor everybody in that house. Jarrett and Olivia for the almost heart attack they had, Nessa for being so conflicted over being pregnant. But she and Jarrett will, issues or no issues, be AWESOME parents. They’ve got nine months (give or take a bit) to make some headway on those issues and get excited for the new baby. They both seem to want kids on some level. I think things will work out, given enough time.

And Olivia will get to be the fun auntie, which I’m sure she’ll love being to pieces. I bet she teaches the baby its first off-color joke!

Still, yay for Jolene and Sawyer! As is often said … better late than never!

There was a lot of happy in this post. We’ll find out, albeit second hand, how Jarrett took being told in the next post, which I’m hoping to write this weekend sometime. It might be a little hard for him, because yeah, he loved Rosie and Frankie a lot, but I think it’s good news.

re. Kian and Nessa, it won’t come up much in this season, but it will come up more in the next season.

Somehow I think you’re no more fond of Gavin than Vivianne is. (Semi-spoiler: Vivianne is Morgaine’s sim-self.) But yeah, he can be a bit of a jerk. He won’t get any sympathy from Kennedy though.

Jarrett and Nessa baby: YAY!! (I’m sure Jarrett will be thrilled, once he gets over having stained Nessa’s honor and all. … Ok, and as long as he doesn’t keep having flashbacks to Rosie and Frankie.)

Nessa seeing Kian: Yay? Only a question mark in case it’s a sign of psychosis and/or an immanent mental breakdown. But I don’t think it is.

That diplomat jerk making a nuisance of himself: Boooooooo.

But all in all, a great update, and it’s good to see you writing again!

However, I will say that I can easily see Fiona’s complaints about Lock being justified, in a way. He probably doesn’t give her all the flirting and attention that she wants. And since she wants that kind of flirting and attention, she should go find somebody else and leave Lock to Tiff.

… Only maybe not Gavin. If he’s tipping a sheltered seventeen-year-old’s skeeze-o-meter, he might not be the best of news. Still, I’ll withhold judgment until we see Gavin for ourselves, not at second or third hand.

As for Tiff-Lock-Fiona, yes, the tension is incredibly thick. Even Lock, who is incredibly thick when it comes to all things “girl” knows there’s something there. He doesn’t realize that Tiffany likes him, but he’s aware of the tension. It could be–and I think that some if not most of the characters on the fringe think of it this way–that Tiffany doesn’t think Fiona is good enough for Lock.

They are friends and have been longer that Fiona’s been Lock’s girlfriend. I think even if she were as happily married as Peyton is (she and Ren are the ones with the least issues lurking about.) to someone else she’d be unhappy with the idea of Fiona as Lock’s mate.

And Lock would probably be just as unhappy if Tiffany, say, were involved with Alistair, even though he doesn’t have a crush on Tiffany.

As for Tiff and Gray, I don’t know that I see the two of them being happy together without a whole lot of work on both their parts. They’re equally strong-willed and independent and at least at this point, not in a complimentary way. (As in complimentary to each other.) Their natures sorta take them in opposite directions and they’re too stubborn for it to be particularly easy to use that as a commonality.

But we’ll see. Eventually Lock will get some sleep (and some “sleep” too). Thanks, Lili!
